Narrative Speech Reflection
Mark Palucci
1. What have you gained or learned after delivering your Narrative Speech? How can you benefit from the things you’ve gained or learned?
Something I have learned is that although I prepared I didn’t prepare quite enough, and that when you don’t prepare enough thing you want to happen don’t happen exactly. I can benefit by setting more time aside so I can properly prepare for future speeches.
2. What have you learned listening to others deliver their own Narrative Speeches? How can you benefit from the things you’ve gained or learned?
That having a good projected non mono tone voice is more interesting and don’t drag on repeating unimportant detail. To project my voice and keep my speech moving and interesting.
3. Give at least 3 to 5 advice you can give to fellow students if they have to deliver their own Narrative Speech to ensure that they can deliver a Narrative Effectively.
It is easier to give a narrative speech that is true rather than make one up.
It is very important to prepare write your speech out once or twice rather than just try to remember it.
No narrative speech is wrong so be confident in what you’re going to say.
Make your speech exciting and keep your audience entertained.
Don’t repeat unnecessary details only really important ones you want everyone to get.
