Self-Evaluation (Informative) 1) I would give my speech a B. The reason being is because I had information cited but I read off the screen too much and I had nervous hand gestures that kept me from really giving a good speech. I had good information and I believe I spoke clear and loud. 2) I think my strong areas were my organization and loud clear speaking and areas I definitely need work on are not reading off the screen and being more comfortable. |

Reflective Journal (narrative)
1) After hearing other speeches and delivering my speech I’ve learned that nervousness comes from you and that there is nothing to be nervous about. I learned even if you are nervous if you speak with great enthusiasm and loud and clear it will cover up the fact that you are nervous.
2) The informative speech that stood out most to me was Dave’s speech on Occupy Wall Street it stood out most to me because I had no idea abouit and he delivered it with mastery and had great confidence and information.
3) I think Scott has shown great leadership because he always gives positive feedback along with a little constructive criticism to actual help everyone get better and at public speaking.
4) I think the whole class has shown great collaboration skills because everyone has listened attentively to speeches and is helping each other by giving pointers.
5) I found Scott’s evaluations most helpful because he isn’t afraid to say what he really means and he always says something good or nice about everyone’s speeches.
